Worked example

A ₹9,000 shipment of glassware arrives shattered. We file within 24 hours, chase for two weeks, and the courier credits you ₹7,500. Our fee: ₹900. You keep ₹6,600 you would likely have written off. If the courier had paid nothing, our fee would be nothing.

FAQ

Questions sellers actually ask

Which claims qualify?
Transit damage, full parcel loss, pilferage/tampering, and short delivery — on domestic shipments with any major Indian courier, whether booked directly or through aggregators like Shiprocket. Old claims qualify too: if you have a denied or stuck claim from the last few weeks, send it; those are often recoverable with proper escalation.
How fast do I need to report damage to you?
Same day you discover it, ideally. Many couriers allow only 24–48 hours after delivery to register a claim, and filing speed is the single biggest factor in recovery. Forward it the moment your customer reports it — we handle everything from there.
Who receives the recovered money?
You do, directly from the courier — as a credit note, account adjustment, or payout depending on the courier. Recovery money never passes through our account. We invoice our 12% after the courier’s payment to you is confirmed.
What if the courier denies the claim?
A first denial is normal and is where most sellers give up — it’s also where we start escalating. We demand the reason in writing, rebut with evidence, and climb the ladder: supervisor desk, nodal officer, formal grievance. If after the full ladder a claim is genuinely dead, we tell you so in writing, with the reason, and you pay nothing for it.
Couriers cap their liability. Can you get my full value back?
Honest answer: not always. Couriers limit liability under their own terms, especially when no declared-value coverage was purchased at booking. We maximise what is contractually recoverable and tell you the realistic range upfront. Part of why we exist is to document exactly how big this gap is — and fix it properly over time.
Do COD orders qualify?
Yes. Damage and loss claims work the same way for COD and prepaid orders. What matters is the shipment evidence — AWB, invoice value, and photos.
What do you need access to?
For claim-by-claim work: nothing beyond what you forward us. If you want us to catch damaged orders automatically and build your courier damage report, we’ll ask for read-only access to your shipping panel or a monthly shipment export. Full terms are on our data promise page.
Is there a contract or minimum volume?
No contract, no minimums. The free 60 days has no card and no auto-conversion — we’ll ask before anything becomes paid. After that, cancel any time with a WhatsApp message; open claims are finished properly either way.
Why is it free right now?
We’re onboarding our first 15 brands and building the most detailed courier damage dataset in India. Your free period is genuinely free; in exchange, your anonymized claim outcomes make the benchmarks better for everyone. That trade is the whole deal — no fine print.
